MISS CLARA BLAKESLEE

For a number of years, Miss Blakeslee has been a prominent figure in the musical circles of Kansas City.  She is known as a conscientious and thoroughly up-to-date teacher, a brilliant pianist and a splendid accompanist.  Her musical education was received in Kansas City, under Mr. and Mrs. Carl Busch, and in New York under Helen Wright.  She has traveled extensively as pianist and accompanist for the Frank Croxton Quartette of New York.  Miss Blakeslee, in connection with her regular piano teaching, will present the new Progressive Series published by the Art Publication Society, which is attaining so much prominence.

FORT WAYNE SENTINEL

"Accompanying the Croxton Quartette with every quality which makes accompanists of discerning intelligence and sympathy was Miss Clara Blakeslee.  Miss Blakeslee gets tones of great power from the piano and her grasp of the score is that of an artist, while her unaffected manners and ease in playing bespeaks the accomplishment of technical skill of high order."
