RULES AND REGULATIONS
All
students entering the Institute do so with
the distinct understanding that they will be
governed and must abide by the following rules and
regulations:
Tuition payable strictly
in advance, and no refund is made to any pupil
leaving before the close of the term for which he
has contracted.
Students may enter at any
time, but will not be accepted for less than one
term of ten weeks.
Students who are late for
lessons or omit them, do so at their own
loss. Only in cases of illness are lessons
made up and then at the convenience of the
teacher.
Positively no cash refund
is made for lessons lost by the student. In
cases of protracted illness a due bill for use in
a later term is given. Should circumstances
permanently prevent the student using the due
bill, the loss thereby sustained will be shared
equally with the student.
Lessons falling on legal
holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Decoration
Day and July 4th, will be made up at the teacher's
convenience. No lessons excused or made
up to pupils taking class lessons.
Students are expected
to attend all faculty and student recitals,
whether they take part or not. It is for the
benefit of the students that these concerts are
given.
Upon leaving the
Institute each student may receive a testimonial
in which the time spent at the institution,
diligence in study, and progress will be
faithfully stated.
All candidates for
certificates and diplomas must make
application at the beginning of the year;
qualifications for same shall be determined
by the Board of Examiners.
Business matters of all
kinds connected with the Institute must be
arranged at the office, and not with teachers.
Students taking
advantage of the ten per cent discount will not be
allowed a refund for lessons missed during the
first two weeks or the last two weeks of the
school year.
