Miss Proctor studied expression and dramatic art at the Emerson School of Oratory, Boston, Mass., and also in Washington, D. C.  While in Washington, Miss Proctor enjoyed much success as a private instructor and later headed the dramatic art department in Trenton Conservatory, Trenton, Mo.  

She has also had several years of experience in successful public recital work.
     Miss Proctor is at present employed by the Kansas City office of the Redpath Lyceum Bureau as coach and critic, which gives her an understanding of the practical needs of the profession.
