Green Parrot Vegetable and Side Dish Recipes
 

BAKED ACORN SQUASH

3 small acorn squash (1/2 lb. each)   3 tb. softened butter
6 tb. brown sugar    
 

Cut squash in half, lengthwise.  Remove seeds.  Score meat with sharp knife, spread with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar.  Place in dish with 1/2 c. water and bake in moderate oven, 375 F., for 30 minutes.
