Beat
warm water, sugar and yeast
together until thoroughly
blended, and add sufficient
flour to make a soft sponge.
Let rise until light. Add
shortening, salt, and mashed
potatoes. Knead in
sufficient flour to make a
rather soft dough. Knead
well, and let rise again.
Make into rolls.
NOTE:
This dough can be made into
dinner rolls, or can be used for
cinnamon rolls. |
