Famous Green Parrot Inn Bread Recipes
 

DENVER BISCUITS
2 c. heated milk   1/2 c. mashed potatoes
1/3 c. sugar 2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cake yeast 1/2 c. melted fat
1/4 c. lukewarm water  
 

Dissolve yeast in water; mix other ingredients, add yeast, let rise; add shortening and flour to make soft dough.  Roll, cut and bake in 425 F. oven.
