Sift
dry ingredients together; cut in
shortening; add buttermilk,
mixing well. Round up on
lightly floured board and knead
lightly 10 to 15 times.
Roll out 1/4" thick,
spread with melted butter, fold
over and cut double biscuits.
Place on an ungreased baking
sheet, and bake 10 to 12 minutes
in a hot oven. |
