Cross Eyes Made Perfectly Straight and all Diseases of the Eyes Successfully Treated.
|
When the muscles of the eye exactly balance, the eye is straight. When the external muscles of the eye are weakened from any cause, the eye turns in toward the nose, and the condition is known as cross-eye or internal squint. When the internal muscles of the eye are weakened the eyes turn out. This is known as wall-eye or divergent squint. In most cases of squint there is a deficiency of vision which must be corrected with glasses before the cross-eye can be properly straightened. Sometimes the cross-eye can be straightened by properly exercising the weakened muscles, but only in mild cases can this be done. Usually the strong muscle that pulls the eye out does not correct the deformity, the weaker muscle has to be strengthened by the operation known as the advancement of the muscle by the above named treatment.
I have succeeded in perfectly correcting many cases of cross-eyes.
