The
night life of Kansas City is growing by leaps
and bounds and our fair city is keeping pace.
Several new clubs have opened and all the old
ones have been redecorated and have added new
attractions.

Atop the Aladdin Hotel at 12th and Wyandotte,
they have opened a new supper club, and such a
club, for here you will find really good food
amid pleasant atmosphere. For those of you
who think Kansas City is a one-horse town, just
you run up this week and see how far wrong you
are.

The
Plantation Grill in the Hotel Muehlebach is
another gathering place for Kansas City's smart
set. We are pleased to announce the
arrival of another famous orchestra -- Bobby
Meeker and his orchestra are with us this week.

Sni-A-Bar
Gardens is just a 30-minute ride over a ribbon
of highway, U. S. No. 40 and Blue Ridge Road,
and is well worth your ride. The Sni-A-Bar
Gardens is a large English Inn that will have a
distinct appeal to those discerning travelers
who appreciate an excellent cuisine,
unobtrusively served in pleasant and altogether
unique surroundings. Every food is
carefully selected and a carefully prepared menu
is widely diversified -- yet prices are
surprisingly moderate. Tom and Kate
Beckham's orchestra is now playing.

You all
recall that "When in Rome do as the Romans do,"
etc., idea. Why not give it a more modern
application and say, "When in Kansas City go to
Meyer's Inn as the Kansas Citians do." Of
course, there may be reasons for the popularity
of this restaurant among the natives that you
are not aware of. "Reasonable priced" and
"smart eating place" are two terms that are
seldom combined in reality. Meyer's Inn
has successfully done this very thing; they
have, in their artistically beautiful inn
managed to serve excellent food at a very
moderate price. In the evening they
feature dancing, too.
