Kittredge Jenney was born in Norwalk, Ohio, April 26,
1871. His family moved to Kansas City when Mr. Jenney was but a
year old, and has lived in this city ever since. He graduated
from the public schools, and took a course of study at the Lehigh
University, graduating from that institution in 1893. After his
return to the city from the university he entered the law office of
Pratt, Ferry & Hagerman two years, after being admitted to the bar
in 1894. He remained with Pratt, Ferry & Hagerman two years
after being admitted to the bar, when he entered into partnership with
Herman Brumback under the firm name of Brumback & Jenney.
Mr. Jenney has been a life-long Democrat, and
was nominated for Justice of the Peace on that party's ticket in
1897. He was elected, and on the expiration of his term in 1902,
was re-elected.
In his school days he developed a propensity for joining
societies, holding membership in the Psi Epsilon and the University
Club. He is now a member of the Bar Association, the Eagles, and
the Elks.
Hr. Jenney is unmarried, and lives in the
Third Ward.
