Cream
butter and sugar, add eggs, and
beat well. Fold grated
orange rind and raisins into two
tb. of the sifted dry
ingredients. Add remainder
of dry ingredients alternately
with the diluted and soured milk
to the first mixture. Fold
in the rind and raisin mixture,
and bake in well oiled square
pan in moderate oven for 30
minutes. Mix orange juice
with 1/2 cup of sugar and pour
over cake while still warm.
Serve with whipped cream when
cold. |
