STUDYING PRINCIPLES OF AVIATION ENGINE

Here is one of my aeroplane
motors mounted on a stand where my students can work on it and learn
all of the details. I also have a complete aeroplane in my
school where my students can learn the principles of construction,
care of motors and other details that cannot be taught successfully
any other way. The aeroplane has flown numerous times
and is a practical machine in every respect.
Many men who have merely picked up the
trade and rejected by the Government as they do not understand the
principles of aeroplane motors. There is as much difference
between and aeroplane motor and an automobile motor as between a
21-jewel watch and an Ingersoll.
My graduates are constantly being admitted
into the mechanical division of the aero squadron and staying there because
they know. My method of teaching by actual experience under
expert instructors does this.
It is a patriotic duty for you to do all
you can for your country. Our Government needs mechanics and
is offering good pay and quick advancement to those who can
qualify. But you must be experienced before you will
be accepted. |
