The building, as planned by Messrs. Van Brunt &
Howe, will be 100 feet wide by 135 feet long and two stories high. The
facade will be of brick and stone, and of Oriental design. The swimming
pool will be 50 feet wide and 100 feet long, holding one-quarter million gallons
of water, which will be emptied four times a day. The pool will be built
of concrete and white enameled brick. On each side of the pool will be
dressing rooms and tub and shower baths. A gallery for spectators will
overlook the pool.
