October 1, 1908 POLICEMEN GET $725.
Includes Uncalled For Cash and Re- ceipts From Old Horse Sale. Captain Frank F. Snow, property clerk, tendered a report to the police board yesterday of the left-over property sale which was held at police headquarters July 18 last. Actual cash left behind for one reason and another amounted to $425.45, and the sale of "junk," as it is called, netted an even $300, making a total of $725.45. This money will be turned over to Thomas Cashen, treasurer of the Police Relief Association.Labels: organizations, police board, police headquarters
